Made in China/Vietnam etc

Before we head over to China and Vietnam, I’ve been busy packing various essential items: hairbrush, lightweight clothes, travel pouches, a rain hood (my work farewell gift), lightweight shirts, hi-tech socks, ultra light shoes and so on.

Each time I pack something I notice that it’s actually made in one of the countries I’m about to visit. It’s somewhat ironic, not least because I’m paying a premium for something that’ll cost about a tenth of the price if I bought it at source. There’s also the fact it had to fly all the way over to London only to go back again.
